Scheduled Art Events and Programs
October 26th through May 3rd - My Mind, My Voice, My Heart
Unique program to meet with middle school students two times each quarter to explore the arts. A final group project is planned. St. Mary's Visitation Parish School.
January 19th through March 27th - Exploring Ceramics and Art Basics
After school program meets once a week with Milwaukee Christian Center children to explore ceramics and the journey of ideas.
February 3rd through April 24th - Cognitive Complexities
Students and teachers will work on foundation skills in the arts while incorporating the classroom academics. All classes will work together on some large scale final projects.
March 20th - smART-math and reading explored in the arts
St. Marcus students will explore the leaf through shape, pattern and poem. In the evening, their parents will join to create a paper quilt.
March 22nd - My Mind, My Voice, My Heart
Garden Homes Lutheran School Title 1 students will explore cubism - utilizing math skills. A handout to explore silhoutte, tesselation and illision will be available for the parent event in the evening.
March 26th through March 30th - Kennedy Elementary School, Janesville
School wide banner arts to explore respectful kids, safe kids and responsible kids.
April 21st - eARTh Day at Snail's Crossing
10am to 1pm. Come help clean up the park for summer. Raking, mulching, sweeping and cleaning the 'Friends Garden'. Bring tools and wheelbarrows.
August 4th through August 5th - Powderhorn Festival of the Arts, MN
